What is a correspondence table?
A correspondence table expresses the relationship between different versions or variants of the same classification or between versions or variants of different classifications.
In the first case the correspondence table links two versions or variants of a classification to facilitate comparability over time. In the second instance it expresses the relationship between different classifications. Correspondences are bi-directional. Correspondence tables may also be used for expressing validation rules.
