The number of persons in employment in March 2024 increased by 1.7% compared to the same month of the previous year

Unemployment rate at 6.2%

In March 2024, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 646 276, out of which 763 561 were women.

Compared to February 2024, the total number of persons in employment increased by 0.7% and the number of employed women by 0.6%.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in March 2024 by 1.7% and the number of employed women by 1.0%. In the period from January to March 2024, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 1.4% and the number of employed women by 1.0%.

The total number of unemployed persons decreased by 6.3% as well as the number of unemployed women, also by 6.3%, in March 2024, as compared to February 2024.

The total registered unemployment rate in March 2024 was 6.2% and for women it was 7.6%.
