Number of persons in employment in September 2023 decreased by 0.6% compared to the previous month

Registered unemployment rate in September 2023 at 5.8%

In September 2023, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 668 370, out of which 774 774 were women.

Compared to August 2023, the total number of persons in employment decreased by 0.6% and the number of employed women by 0.9%. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in September 2023 by 1.5% and the number of employed women by 1.4%.

The number of unemployed persons decreased by 3.5% and the number of unemployed women by 6.8% in September 2023 as compared to August 2023. The registered unemployment rate in September 2023 was 5.8% and for women it was 7.2%.
