Industrial production increased by 4.4% at monthly level

Highest increase by 6.7% in Manufacturing

In May 2023 as compared to May 2022, working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia increased by 1.2% annually. The total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia increased by 4.4% in May 2023 as compared to April 2023.
 
According to the NKD 2007 sections, seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production in May 2023, as compared to April 2023, increased in Manufacturing by 6.7%, while it decreased in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 3.4%, and in Mining and quarrying by 0.8%.
 
At the end of May 2023, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 5.9% higher than the stocks at the end of April 2023 and 6.2% higher than the stocks at the end of May 2022.
The total number of persons employed in industry in May 2023 was 0.2% lower than in April 2023 and 1.0% lower than in May 2022.
