In October, the total number of persons in employment records a decrease of 0.1% than the month before

The total registered unemployment rate reaches 6.5%

In October 2022, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 620 411, of which 758 471 were women. Compared to September 2022, the total number of persons in employment was 0.1% lower, and the number of employed women was 0.4% higher. Compared to the same month last year, in October 2022, the total number of persons in employment was 1.2% higher, as well as the number of employed women. For the period from January to October 2022, as compared to the same period last year, the total number of persons in employment was 1.4% higher, and the number of employed women was 1.6% higher.
 
The number of unemployed persons in October 2022, as compared to September 2022, increased by 6.0% and the number of employed women by 5.5%.

The total registered unemployment rate in October 2022 was 6.5% and for women it was 7.8%.
