In October 2024, the total number of persons in employment increased by 0.1% compared to the month before

The total registered unemployment rate reached 4.7%

In October 2024, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 731 090, of which 805 489 were women. Compared to September 2024, the total number of persons in employment increased by 0.1% and the number of employed women by 0.5%.
 
Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in October 2024 by 2.5% and the number of employed women by 2.6%. For the period from January to October 2024, as compared to the same period last year, the total number of persons in employment was 1.9% higher, and the number of employed women was 1.6% higher.
 
The number of unemployed persons in October 2024, as compared to September 2024, increased by 4.1% and the number of employed women also by 4.1%.

The total registered unemployment rate in October 2024 was 4.7% and for women it was 5.5%.
