National accounts provide a systematic summary of national economic activities and are an indispensable tool for monitoring of the economy. They provide a complete quantitative picture of economic development. Gross domestic product (GDP) is the measure of economic growth most commonly used by national accounts. The national accounts data are based on the methodological framework of the European System of National and Regional Accounts (ESA 2010).
In addition to data on GDP and national accounts, you can also find data on non-financial sector accounts, government finance statistics, government deficit and debt, input-output tables, regional accounts and prices.
