The production of Energy increased by 5.5% at the annual level
The total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia decreased by 2.3% in January 2026, as compared to December 2025. In January 2026, as compared to January 2025, working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia decreased by 0.8%.
In January 2026, as compared to December 2025, the production of Capital goods decreased by 19.5%, of Intermediate goods by 3.6%, and of Durable consumer goods by 3.1%, while the production of Energy increased by 8.4%, and of Non-durable consumer goods by 2.6%. At the annual level, the production of Capital goods decreased by 4.2%, of Durable consumer goods by 3.1%, and of Non-durable consumer goods by 1.0%, while the production of Energy increased by 5.5% and of Intermediate goods by 0.4%.
At the annual level, the working-day adjusted industrial production decreased in Mining and quarrying by 13.7% and in Manufacturing by 0.8%, whereas it increased in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 11.1%.
The total number of persons employed in industry in January 2026 was 2.9% lower than in December 2025, while it was 5.4% lower than in January 2025.
