The total registered unemployment rate reached 4.5%
In November 2025, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 735 230, of which 807 020 were women. Compared to October 2025, the total number of persons in employment decreased by 1.1% and the number of employed women by 1.0%. Compared to the same month last year, in November 2025 the total number of persons in employment in legal entities was 0.2% lower, whereas the number of employed women was 0.1% higher.
In November 2025, the total number of persons in employment in legal entities of the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 502 833, of which 711 515 were women. Compared to October 2025, the total number of persons in employment in legal entities was 1.0% lower and the number of employed women was 0.9% lower. Compared to the same month last year, in November 2025 the total number of persons in employment in legal entities was 0.5% lower and the number of employed women was 0.1% lower. For the period from January to November 2025, as compared to the same period last year, the number of persons in employment in legal entities was 0.6% higher and the number of employed women was 1.0% higher.
The number of unemployed persons in November 2025, as compared to October 2025, increased by 4.2%, the same as the number of unemployed women. The total registered unemployment rate in November 2025 was 4.5% and for women it was 5.1%.
