The total registered unemployment rate was 5.4%
In February 2025, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 693 752, out of which 785 890 were women. Compared to January 2025, the total number of persons in employment remained the same, while the number of employed women decreased by 0.2%.
Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in February 2025 by 2.1% and the number of employed women by 2.3%. In the period from January to February 2025, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 2.0% and the number of employed women by 2.3%.
The total number of unemployed persons decreased by 1.1% and the number of unemployed women by 0.8% in February 2025, as compared to January 2025. The total registered unemployment rate in February 2025 was 5.4% and, for women, it was 6.1%.
