The total registered unemployment rate in May 2024 was 5.0%
In May 2024, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 688 586, of which 784 879 were women.
Compared to April 2024, the total number of persons in employment was 2.0% higher, and the number of employed women was 2.2% higher.
Compared to the same month last year, the total number of persons in employment in May 2024 was 1.8% higher and the number of employed women was 1.3% higher.
Compared to April 2024, the total number of unemployed persons fell in May 2024 by 10.6% and the number of unemployed women by 12.1%. The total registered unemployment rate in May 2024 was 5.0% and for women it was 5.9%.
