It remained unchanged at the monthly level
The industrial production, working-day adjusted, decreased by 2.0% in April 2024, as compared to April last year. Viewed by seasonally and working-day adjusted data at the monthly level, the industrial production remained unchanged.
In April 2024, as compared to April 2023, the production of Energy decreased by 21.2%, of Durable consumer goods by 3.8% and of Capital goods by 1.2%, while the production of Intermediate goods increased by 4.9% and of Non-durable consumer goods by 1.5%.
At the end of April 2024, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 1.7% higher than the stocks at the end of March 2024, while they were 5.3% lower than the stocks at the end of April 2023.
The total number of persons employed in industry in April 2024 was 0.2% lower than in March 2024 and 2.3% lower than in April 2023.
