There were 14.7% more tourist arrivals and 7.9% more tourist nights in February 2024 compared to February 2023

Most tourist nights were realised in the County of Istria

In February 2024, there were 312 thousand tourist arrivals and 703 thousand tourist nights in commercial accommodation establishments, which was an increase in arrivals of 14.7% and in nights of 7.9% compared to February 2023.

Domestic tourists realised 143 thousand arrivals and 288 thousand nights in February 2024, which was 10.7% more arrivals and 9.9% more nights compared to February 2023.

Foreign tourists realised 169 thousand arrivals and 416 thousand nights in February 2024, which was 18.2% more arrivals and 6.7% more nights compared to February 2023.
The most foreign tourist nights were realised by tourists from Slovenia, as much as 94 thousand nights, which accounted for 22.6% of the total realised foreign tourist nights. These were followed by tourists from Austria (12.0%), Germany (9.7%), Italy (6.0%) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (5.3%).

The County of Istria realised the most tourist nights in February 2024, as much as 167 thousand nights, which accounted for 23.8% of the total realised tourist nights in Croatia. The County of Istria was followed by the City of Zagreb, with 131 thousand realised tourist nights, and the County of Primorje-Gorski kotar, with 111 thousand realised tourist nights.

The most tourist nights were realised in the group Hotels and similar accommodation, as much as 460 thousand of them, which was 65.5% of the total realised tourist nights.
