Industrial production in February 2024 decreased by 5.7% at the annual level

The total number of persons employed in industry in February was 0.1% higher than in January 2024 

The working-day adjusted industrial production in February 2024 decreased by 5.7% compared to February of the previous year. Observing seasonally and working-day adjusted data, at the monthly level, the industrial production decreased by 4.6% compared to January 2024.

In February 2024 as compared to February 2023, working-day adjusted industrial production decreased the most in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, by 18.4%, in Mining and quarrying, by 3.1%, and in Manufacturing, by 1.9%.

At the end of February 2024, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 3.4% lower than the stocks at the end of January 2024, and 5.7% lower than the stocks at the end of February 2023.

The total number of persons employed in industry in February 2024 was 0.1% higher than in January 2024 and 2.3% lower than in February 2023.
