Successful results and programme solution presented
To mark the completion of the project “Introduction of a cost estimation system for statistical processes and products”, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics organised the final presentation of the successful results of the project on 13 December 2023 in Zagreb.
By introducing a system for calculating the costs of statistical processes and products and its software solution, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics will significantly improve its processes, thus becoming a positive example of effective management of costs financed from the state budget.
"This project is another example of how the Croatian Bureau of Statistics not only monitors, but also sets the standards of excellence," pointed out Lidija Brković, the Director General of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
The increasing need for statistical data in today's world requires from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics an optimal and rational management of human and financial resources. Therefore, this project, financed from the European Structural and Investment Funds, is a key initiative aimed at providing accurate, high-quality and timely information to the management of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics in order to make the best possible decisions and contribute to the improvement of its business.
