Industrial production in February decreased by 1.7% at the annual level

The largest decrease was recorded in Mining and quarrying, of 3.1%, and in Manufacturing, of 3.0%

The working-day adjusted industrial production in February 2023 decreased by 1.7% compared to February of the previous year. Observing seasonally and working-day adjusted data, at the monthly level, the industrial production increased by 0.7% compared to January 2023.
 
According to the NKD 2007 sections, the working-day adjusted industrial production decreased the most in Mining and quarrying, by 3.1%, and in Manufacturing, by 3.0%, while it increased the most in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, by 5.7%.
 
At the end of February 2023, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 1.7% higher than the stocks at the end of January 2023 and 4.0% higher than the stocks at the end of February 2022.
 
The total number of persons employed in industry in February 2023 was 0.1% lower than in January 2023 and 0.2% lower than in February 2022.
