Registered unemployment rate in August 2022 amounted to 6.3%
In August 2022, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 632 071, out of which 761 915 were women. Compared to July 2022, the total number of persons in paid employment decreased by 0.2% and the number of employed women by 0.6%. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in August 2022 by 1.3% and the number of employed women by 1.4%. In the period from January to August 2022, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 1.5% and the number of employed women by 1.7%.
The total number of unemployed persons increased by 0.8% and the number of unemployed women by 1.1% in August 2022, as compared to July 2022.
The total registered unemployment rate in August 2022 was 6.3% and for women it was 8.0%.
