Increase in industrial production at the annual level of 3.8

Total number of persons employed in industry in June 2022 compared to June 2021 decreased by 0.7%

In June 2022, as compared to June 2021, the total industrial production in the Republic of Croatia, working-day adjusted, increased by 3.8%. The total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia in June 2022, as compared to May 2022, increased by 1.2%.

In June 2022, as compared to June 2022, Capital goods increased by 12.0%, Energy by 9.6%, Intermediate goods by 2.2% and Non-durable consumer goods by 0.2%, while Durable consumer goods decreased by 4.7%.

According to the NKD 2007. sections, working-day adjusted industrial production increased in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 12.2% and in Manufacturing by 3.0%, while it decreased in Mining and quarrying by 5.7%.

At the end of June 2022, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 3.3% lower than the stocks at the end of May 2022 and 2.0% lower than the stocks at the end of June 2021.

The total number of persons employed in industry in June 2022 was 0.1% higher than in May 2022 and 0.7% lower than in June 2021.
