Visit of the members of the mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the Republic of Croatia to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics

On 6 October 2022, Ms. Lidija Brković, the Director General of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, hosted the members of the mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, headed by Ms. Nazdar Ihsan Mohammed Sherzad, the Minister Plenipotentiary and Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in the Republic of Croatia.

The topic of the visit was statistics of trade in goods between the two republics and the exchange of information on the specifics of national statistical systems. Along with the Director General, the representatives of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics were Ms. Milenka Primorac Čačić, the Director of the Business Statistics Directorate, Mr. Boro Žderić, the Head of the Foreign Trade in Goods Statistics Department, Ms. Dubravka Drempetić, the Head of the Extrastat Unit, and Ms. Marija Kamenski, the Head of the International Relations Department.

The delegation of the Republic of Iraq, along with the Minister Plenipotentiary and Chargé d’Affaires, consisted of Mr. Khalid Al-Ogaidi, the Second Secretary, and Mr. Yasir Al-Badri, the Third Secretary.

The participants expressed their satisfaction with the visit and their openness to continue communication.
