The total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia 1.2% higher in May than in April

The total registered unemployment rate reaches 6.5% in May

In May 2022, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 592 190, of which 745 330 were women. Compared to April 2022, the total number of persons in employment was 1.2% higher, and the number of employed women was 1.4% higher.

Compared to the same month last year, in May 2022, the total number of persons in employment was 1.8% higher and the number of employed women was 2.2% higher.

Compared to April 2022, the total number of unemployed persons fell in May 2022 by 7.6% and the number of unemployed women by 7.3%. The total registered unemployment rate in May 2022 was 6.5% and for women it was 7.8%.
