The Statistical Day 2022 conference under the title “In the light of higher prices” held in Brdo pri Kranju

The Statistical Day 2022 conference was held on 11 October 2022 in Brdo pri Kranju, organised by the Statistical Office of Slovenia, under the title "In the light of higher prices". The conference focused on how higher prices affect consumers, their purchasing habits, purchasing power and standard of living, highlighting the differences between perceived and officially measured inflation and presenting the impact of consumer behaviour on inflation.
 
Other issues that were discussed were the role of the media and the impact of inflation on the economy, as well as what the future holds and when we can expect inflation to moderate.
 
The conference was attended by Lidija Brković, Director General of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, Marija Gudelj, Head of the Consumer Price Statistics Unit, and Maja Dozet, Head of the Development of Services and Service Price Statistics Unit.
