The number of persons in employment went up by 1.3% in September 2022 compared to the same month last year

The total registered unemployment rate in September 2022 was 6.1%

In September 2022, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 621 308, out of which 755 562 were women. Compared to August 2022, the total number of persons in employment decreased by 0.7% and the number of employed women by 0.8%. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in September 2022 by 1.3% and the number of employed women by 1.2%.

In the period from January to September 2022, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 1.4% and the number of employed women by 1.7%.

The total number of unemployed persons decreased by 4.2% and the number of unemployed women by 0.8% in September 2022, as compared to August 2022.

The total registered unemployment rate in September 2022 was 6.1% and for women it was 7.4%.
