The number of persons in employment in September 2024 decreased by 0.5% compared to the previous month

The total registered unemployment rate reached 4.6%

In September 2024, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 729 859, out of which 801 192 were women. Compared to August 2024, the total number of persons in employment decreased by 0.5% and the number of employed women by 0.7%.
 
Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment, as well as the number of employed women, increased by 2.4% in September 2024.
 
The total number of unemployed persons decreased by 5.8% and the number of unemployed women by 11.0% in September 2024, as compared to August 2024.

The total registered unemployment rate in September 2024 was 4.6% and for women it was 5.3%.
