The Survey includes 5 598 business entities

The Croatian Bureau of Statistics started the implementation of the statistical survey entitled the Labour Cost Survey (LCS). This survey is carried out every four years in the European Union Member States, while the Croatian Bureau of Statistics implements it for the fifth time.

The Survey includes 5 598 business entities, that is, all large enterprises and a selected sample of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The objective of the Survey is to obtain reliable and accurate data on the level and composition of labour costs on the Croatian market, which will allow for the comparison of labour costs on the national and international labour market, particularly between the European Union Member States.

All enterprises selected into the sample send their information electronically, that is, they fill out the online questionnaire by directly accessing the web application of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics. The deadline for filling out the questionnaire is set to 16 June 2023.

It is important to point out that, in line with the provisions of the Official Statistics Act referring to statistical data confidentiality, individual data collected in this Survey are an official secret and statistically confidential, therefore they are released only in aggregated form and used only for statistical purposes.

We appreciate your time and trust you give us so we can produce high-quality statistical data which will be useful to society as a whole. Thank you!
