The implementation of the 2026 Income and Living Conditions Survey begins
The aim is to get a realistic picture of how Croatian citizens live
Once again, from March to the end of May 2026, the Income and Living Conditions Survey will be carried out, a regular annual survey used to collect data on the standard of living, income and housing conditions in the Republic of Croatia. The survey is conducted on a sample of 13 348 randomly selected private households, which will be interviewed by authorised interveiwers of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, either by phone or by visiting them in person. The aim of this survey is to get a realistic picture of how Croatian citizens live and what financial challenges they face.
In accordance with the Official Statistics Act (NN, Nos 25/20, 155/23 and 124/25 - corr.), all collected data are condifential and are published only in aggregate form. In other words, it means that it is not possible to identify households or individuals who participated in the survey.
