The average net earnings in August reached 7 679 kuna

The highest average monthly paid off net earnings paid off in the activity Air transport

For August 2022, the average monthly paid off net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia amounted to 7 679 kuna, which represented a nominal increase of 1.4% and a real one of 1.3%, as compared to July 2022. For August 2022, the average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia amounted to 10 466 kuna, which represented a nominal increase of 1.6% and a real one of 1.5%, as compared to July 2022.

The highest average monthly paid off net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for August 2022 were paid off in the activity Air transport and amounted to 13 091 kuna, while the lowest earnings were paid off in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 4 928 kuna.
The highest average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for August 2022 were paid off in the activity Manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products and amounted to 18 727 kuna, while the lowest earnings were paid off in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 6 336 kuna.

The average monthly paid off net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for August 2022 were nominally 7.9% higher and really 3.9% lower, as compared to the same month last year. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for August 2022 were nominally 8.9% higher and really 3.0% lower, as compared to the same month last year.

In August 2022, there were 183 paid hours on average, which means that they increased by 9.6%, as compared to July 2022. The greatest number of paid hours was recorded in the activity Water transport (193) and the smallest one in Social work activities without accommodation (169).

Median net earnings for August 2022 amounted to 6 594 kuna, while median gross earnings amounted to 8 721 kuna.
