The average monthly net earnings for March 2026 amounted to 1 555 euro

Median net earnings amounted to 1 317 euro

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for March 2026 amounted to 1 555 euro, which represented a nominal increase of 1.8% and a real one of 0.4%, as compared to February 2026. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for March 2026 amounted to 2 183 euro, which represented a nominal increase of 2.1% and a real one of 0.7%, as compared to February 2026.

As compared to the same month of the previous year, the average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for March 2026 were 7.4% higher in nominal terms and 2.5% higher in real terms. As compared to the same month of the previous year, the average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for March 2026 were 8.4% higher in nominal terms and 3.4% higher in real terms.

The highest average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for March 2026 were paid in the activity Air transport and amounted to 2 309 euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 996 euro. The highest average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for March 2026 were paid in the activity Advertising and market research and amounted to 3 375 euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 1 325 euro.

Median net earnings for March 2026 amounted to 1 317 euro, which was 2.7% higher than in February 2026. As compared to the same month of the previous year, they increased by 9.8%. Median gross earnings for March 2026 amounted to 1 805 euro, which was 3.1% higher than in February 2026. As compared to the same month of the previous year, they increased by 11.4%.
