Signing of the Agreement on scientific and development cooperation with the Faculty of Economics in Split

Continuation of cooperation with academic community
 

Yet another agreement on scientific and development cooperation aimed at the continuation of cooperation with academic community was signed on 12 July 2024, this time with the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism in Split. The signatories of the Agreement are Lidija Brković, Director General of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, on behalf of the Bureau, and Vinko Muštra, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism in Split, on behalf of the Faculty.

The purpose of the Agreement, as it was also the case with the agreements with the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka and the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, is mutual sharing of scientific, professional, business and organisational services, the realisation of thematic research, the creation of scientific and professional projects, the organisation of seminars, workshops, round tables, conferences and educational programmes, as well as gathering of scientists and experts in various domains in order to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Dubravka Granić, Secretary of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism in Split, was also present at the signing of the Agreement on behalf of the Faculty, as well as, on behalf of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, Andrea Galić Nagyszombaty, Director of the Statistical Methodologies, Quality and Customer Relations Directorate, Marcela Gracin Fagač, Director of the Legal, Financial and General Affairs Directorate, and Ivana Aljinović, Secretary of the Director General’s Office.

The Agreement between the Croatian Bureau of Statistics and the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism in Split is another huge step forward in cooperation of state administration bodies with educational institutions, which will surely further contribute to the high-quality execution of scientific research projects.
