Number of unemployed persons in February decreased by 3.6% compared to January

Registered unemployment rate at 6.9%

In February 2023, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 587 266, out of which 742 506 were women. Compared to January 2023, the total number of persons in employment increased by 0.1% and the number of employed women by 0.2%.
 
Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in February 2023 by 0.9% and the number of employed women by 1.1%. In the period from January to February 2023, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 0.7% and the number of employed women by 0.8%.
 
Compared to January 2023, the total number of unemployed persons decreased by 3.6% and the number of unemployed women by 5.0%.
 
The registered unemployment rate in February 2023 was at 6.9% and rate for women it was at 8.0%.
