Number of persons in employment in March 2023 increased by 0.7% compared to previous month

Registered unemployment rate at 6.5%

In March 2023, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 597 798, out of which 747 738 were women. Compared to February 2023, the total number of persons in employment as well as the number of employed women increased by 0.7%.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in March 2023 by 1.2% and the number of employed women by 1.6%.

In the period from January to March 2023, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 0.9% and the number of employed women by 1.1%.

The total number of unemployed persons decreased by 5.1% and the number of unemployed women decreased by 4.7% in March 2023 as compared to February 2023.

The total registered unemployment rate in March 2023 was at 6.5% and for women at 7.7%.
