More journeys of foreign vessels on cruise in the Croatian Adriatic in the first five months of 2026

Most cruises under the flag of Malta

In the period from January to May 2026, there were 49 foreign vessels on cruise that arrived in Croatian seaports, which is four vessels more than in the same period of 2025.
 
Foreign vessels on cruise made a total of 163 journeys in the territorial waters of the Republic of Croatia in the first five months of 2026, which is an increase of 7.9% compared to the same period of 2025. At the same time, there were 221 thousand passengers on board those vessels, which is an increase of 6.7%. Those vessels spent 405 days in Croatia, that is, 13.8% more than last year.

Foreign vessels on cruise sailed to Croatian seaports under the flags of 11 countries in the first five months. The highest number of journeys of foreign vessels on cruise was realised under the flag of Malta, a total of 38 journeys, which accounted for 23.3% of the total realised journeys.

Favourite destination of foreign vessels on cruise is the city of Dubrovnik, which makes the port of Dubrovnik the most visited port for foreign vessels on cruise in the first five months of 2026, with a total of 130 visits.
