Industrial production mildly dropped in September 2025 at the annual level

Energy production dropped most

The total industrial production in the Republic of Croatia, seasonally and working-day adjusted, increased by 0.5% in September 2025, as compared to August 2025. The industrial production, working-day adjusted, decreased by 0.1% in September 2025, as compared to September 2024.

In September 2025, as compared to September 2024, the production of Energy decreased by 13.6% and of Non-durable consumer goods by 5.1%, while the production of Capital goods increased by 20.0%, of Intermediate goods by 6.3% and of Durable consumer goods by 3.2%.

In September 2025, as compared to September 2024, working-day adjusted industrial production decreased in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 14.3% and in Mining and quarrying by 2.5%, while it increased in Manufacturing by 3.2%.

At the end of September 2025, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 1.7% higher than the stocks at the end of August 2025 and 5.9% higher than the stocks at the end of September 2024.

The total number of persons employed in industry in September 2025 remained at the same level as in August 2025, whereas it was 2.8% lower than in September 2024.
