Industrial production increased in September 2024 by 1.0% at the annual level

Mining and quarrying recorded the highest increase, of 18.1%

The total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia increased by 5.8% in September 2024, as compared to August 2024.
At the annual level, in September 2024, as compared to September 2023, working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia increased by 1.0%.

In September 2024, as compared to September 2023, working-day adjusted industrial production increased the most in Mining and quarrying, by 18.1%, and in Manufacturing, by 1.0%, while it decreased in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 5.6%.

At the end of September 2024, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 4.3% higher than the stocks at the end of August 2024 and 0.1% higher than the stocks at the end of September 2023.

The total number of persons employed in industry in September 2024 was 0.1% lower than in August 2024 and 2.1% lower than in September 2023.
