Industrial production in September increased by 1.0% year-on-year

Highest increase in Mining and quarrying, by 16.4%

In October 2023, working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia increased by 1.0% compared to October 2022. Based on seasonally and working-day adjusted data, industrial production showed a decrease of 1.4% month-on-month in October 2023 compared to September 2023.
 
According to the NKD 2007 sections, seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production in October 2023, as compared to September 2023, decreased mostly in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 12.1%, whereas it increased in Mining and quarrying by 16.4% and in Manufacturing by 0.3%.
 
At the end of October 2023, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were by 2.6% higher than the stocks at the end of September 2023, and by 5.8% higher than the stocks at the end of October 2022.
 
The total number of persons employed in industry in October 2023 was by 0.1% higher than in September 2023, and by 2.3% lower than in October 2022.
