Industrial production in May increased by 3.0% compared to May 2021

Total stocks of industrial finished products 2.3% higher at the end of May 2022 than the socks at the end of April 2022
 

The industrial production, working-day adjusted, increased by 3.0% in May 2022 compared to May of the previous year. Viewed by seasonally and working-day adjusted data at the monthly level, the industrial production showed an increase of 0.3% compared to April 2022.
 
According to NKD 2007. sections, the industrial production, working-day adjusted, decreased the most in Mining and quarrying, by 6.5%, while in Manufacturing it increased by 3.2% and in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 2.5%.
 
At the end of May 2022, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 2.3% higher than the stocks at the end of April 2022 and 5.6% lower than the stocks at the end of May 2021.
 
The number of persons in employment in May 2022 was 0.1% lower than in April 2022 and 0.9% lower than in May 2021.
