Industrial production in March decreased by 0.7% at the annual level

Total stocks of industrial finished products 7.4% higher than in March 2022

The working-day adjusted industrial production in March 2023 decreased by 0.7% compared to March of the previous year. Observing seasonally and working-day adjusted data, at the monthly level, the industrial production increased by 1.2% compared to February 2023.
 
According to the NKD 2007 sections, the working-day adjusted industrial production decreased the most in Mining and quarrying, by 5.6%, and in Manufacturing, by 1.4%, while it increased the most in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, by 2.9%.
 
At the end of March 2023, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 0.9% higher than the stocks at the end of February 2023 and 7.4% higher than the stocks at the end of March 2022.
 
The total number of persons employed in industry in March 2023 was 0.1% higher than in February 2023 and 0.3% lower than in March 2022.
