Industrial production in March 2022 decreased by 1.9% compared to March 2021

The largest decrease in Mining and quarrying and Manufacturing

The industrial production, working-day adjusted, decreased by 1.9% in March 2022 compared to March of the previous year. Viewed by seasonally and working-day adjusted data at the monthly level, the industrial production showed a decrease of 2.6% compared to February 2022.

According to NKD 2007. sections, the industrial production, working-day adjusted, decreased the most in Mining and quarrying, by 5.1%, and in Manufacturing, by 2.7%, while in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 3.9%.

At the end of March 2022, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 2.4% lower than the stocks at the end of February 2022 and 9.9% lower than the stocks at the end of March 2021.

The total number of persons employed in industry in March 2022 was 0.8% lower than in February 2022 and 2.0% lower than in March 2021.
