Industrial production in February 2026 increased by 1.2% at the annual level
The production of Energy 10.7% lower at the monthly level
The total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia decreased by 0.8% in February 2026, as compared to January 2026. In February 2026, as compared to February 2025, working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia increased by 1.2%.In February 2026, as compared to January 2026, the production of Energy decreased by 10.7%, of Non-durable consumer goods by 2.6% and of Durable consumer goods by 1.6%, whereas the production of Capital goods increased by 14.3% and of Intermediate goods by 0.9%. In February 2026, as compared to February 2025, the production of Capital goods increased by 7.0%, of Intermediate goods by 2.8% and of Non-durable consumer goods by 2.2%, whereas the production of Durable consumer goods decreased by 9.3% and of Energy by 4.3%.
According to the NKD 2007 sections, seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production in February 2026, as compared to January 2026, increased in Mining and quarrying by 11.5%, whereas it decreased in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 4.0% and in Manufacturing by 0.7%. At the annual level, working-day adjusted industrial production increased in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 7.2% and in Manufacturing by 1.3%, whereas it decreased in Mining and quarrying by 4.1%.
The total number of persons employed in industry in February 2026 remained unchanged compared to January 2026, while it was 5.3% lower than in February 2025.
