Industrial production decreased by 0.3% in October at the annual level

The largest decrease was recorded in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, of 12.6%, and in Mining and quarrying, of 3.9%

In October 2022, the working-day adjusted industrial production decreased by 0.3% compared to October of the previous year. Observing seasonally and working-day adjusted data, at the monthly level, the industrial production decreased by 1.4% compared to September 2022.

According to NKD 2007. sections, working-day adjusted industrial production decreased the most in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, by 12.6%, and in Mining and quarrying, by 3.9%, while in Manufacturing, it increased by 2.0%.

At the end of October 2022, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 3.5% higher than the stocks at the end of September 2022 and 0.5% higher than the stocks at the end of October 2021.

The total number of persons employed in industry in October 2022 was 0.3% higher than in September 2022 and 0.2% lower than in October 2021.
