Increase in the number of foreign vessels on cruise in the first five months of 2025
Dubrovnik maintained the status of the most visited seaport
In the period from January to May 2025, there were 45 foreign vessels on cruise that arrived in Croatian seaports, i.e., five vessels more than in the same period of 2024.Foreign vessels on cruise realised in the first five months of 2025 a total of 151 journeys in the territorial waters of the Republic of Croatia, which was an increase of 4.9% compared to the same period of 2024. At the same time, the number of sojourns of the aforementioned vessels amounted to 356, which was an increase of 7.6%, while the number of passengers amounted to 207 501, which was a slight decrease of 0.2%.
Traditionally, the seaport of Dubrovnik was in the first five months of 2025 the most visited seaport for foreign vessels on cruise, with a total of 110 visits. This was followed by the seaports of Split (71 visits), Zadar (46 visits), Šibenik (20 visits) and Korčula (18 visits).
