Income and Living Conditions Survey Results 2025 is being carried out

2024 Survey results are released as well

From April until the end of June 2025, the Income and Living Conditions Survey, a regular annual survey on economic activity, educational status as well as financial and material conditions of population, is being carried out.

A total of 13 049 households have been randomly selected from the Census of Population, Households and Dwellings in 2021, and they will be interviewed by authorised interveiwers of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, either by visiting them or by phone. The interviewers have official ID cards of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, which they are obligated to display at the request of the household.
In addition to regular questions for households and persons, specific topics, the so-called modules, are also dealt with each year. In 2025, these are Health as well as Energy and the environment.
 
Confidentiality and anonymity of the collected data are guaranteed by the Official Statistics Act (NN, Nos 25/20 and 155/23), which means that the data are confidential and published in an aggregated form, i.e. it is not possible to identify the persons who participated in the Survey.

The results of the Income and Living Conditions Survey carried out in 2024 are available in the First Release and Statistics in Line, whereas more indicators of poverty and social exclusion will be available late in June 2025.
