In October 2025, the total number of persons in employment was 1 754 861

The total registered unemployment rate reaches 4.2%

In October 2025, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 754 861, of which 815 256 were women. Compared to September 2025, the total number of persons in employment was 0.1% lower, whereas the number of employed women remained at the same level. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in October 2025 by 0.2% and the number of employed women by 0.4%.

In October 2025, the total number of persons in employment in legal entities of the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 518 445, of which 717 779 were women. Compared to September 2025, the number of persons in employment in legal entities was 0.6% higher, the same as the number of employed women. Compared to the same month last year, in October 2025 the total number of persons in employment in legal entities was 0.1% lower, whereas the number of employed women was 0.2% higher. Compared to the previous month, in October 2025 the total number of persons in employment in crafts and trades and free lances was 4.5% lower and the number of employed women was 4.9% lower. The total number of employed insured persons - private farmers was 0.3% lower and the number of employed female farmers was 0.6% lower.

The number of unemployed persons in October 2025, as compared to September 2025, increased by 4.4% and the number of unemployed women by 4.5%. The total registered unemployment rate in October 2025 was 4.2% and for women it was 4.8%.
