In November 2024, the total number of persons in employment decreased by 1.1% compared to the previous month

The total registered unemployment rate was 5.0%

In November 2024, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 712 179, out of which 796 873 were women. Compared to October 2024, both the total number of persons in employment and the number of employed women decreased by 1.1%.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in November 2024 by 2.2% and the number of employed women by 2.3%. In the period from January to November 2024, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 1.9% and the number of employed women by 1.7%.

In November 2024, as compared to October 2024, the total number of unemployed persons as well as the number of unemployed women increased by 4.2%. The total registered unemployment rate in November 2024 was 5.0% and for women it was 5.7%.
