In May 2025, the industrial production was 2.9% lower at the annual level

The total stocks of industrial finished products were 11.0% higher

The total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia decreased by 2.9% in May 2025, as compared to April 2025. In May 2025, as compared to May 2024, working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia increased by 1.7%.

In May 2025, as compared to May 2024, working-day adjusted industrial production decreased in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 11.9% and in Mining and quarrying by 3.3%, whereas it increased in Manufacturing by 4.9%.

At the end of May 2025, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 3.3% higher than the stocks at the end of April 2025 and 11.0% higher than the stocks at the end of May 2024.

The total number of persons employed in industry in May 2025 was 0.2% lower than in April 2025 and 2.6% lower than in May 2024.
