In March 2025, the total number of persons in employment increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month

The total registered unemployment rate in March 2025 was 5.1%

In March 2025, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 699 426, out of which 787 819 were women. Compared to February 2025, the total number of persons in employment increased by 0.3% and the number of employed women by 0.2%.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in March 2025 by 1.9% and the number of employed women by 2.2%. In the period from January to March 2025, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 2.0% and the number of employed women by 2.2%.

The total number of employed insured persons - private farmers decreased

In March 2025, as compared to the previous month, the number of persons in employment in crafts and trades and free lances increased by 1.3% and the number of employed women by 1.1%. The total number of employed insured persons - private farmers decreased by 0.2% and the number of employed female farmers by 0.1%.

The total number of unemployed persons decreased by 5.8% and the number of unemployed women by 6.0% in March 2025, as compared to February 2025. The total registered unemployment rate in March 2025 was 5.1% and for women it was 5.8%.
