In July 2025, there were a total of 1 770 943 persons in employment

The total registered unemployment rate reached 4.0%

In July 2025, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 770 943, of which 823 637 were women. Compared to June 2025, the total number of persons in employment increased by 1.1% and the number of employed women by 1.0%. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in July 2025 by 0.3% and the number of employed women by 0.5%.

In July 2025, the total number of persons in employment in legal entities of the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 514 675, of which 716 605 were women. Compared to June 2025, the total number of persons in paid employment in legal entities increased by 1.0% and the number of employed women by 0.9%. Compared to the same month last year, in July 2025 the total number of persons in employment in legal entities remained at the same level, whereas the number of employed women was 0.3% higher. Compared to the previous month, in July 2025 the total number of persons in employment in crafts and trades and free lances was 1.8% higher and the number of employed women was 2.2% higher. The total number of employed insured persons - private farmers was 0.4% lower and the number of employed female farmers was 0.7% lower.

The number of unemployed persons in July 2025, as compared to June 2025, increased by 4.5% and the number of unemployed women by 6.4%. The total registered unemployment rate in July 2025 was 4.0% and for women it was 4.6%.
