In July 2023, the total number of persons in employment increased by 1.6% compared to the month before

The total registered unemployment rate reaches 5.8%

In July 2023, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 683 394, out of which 787 932 were women.

Compared to June 2023, the total number of persons in employment increased by 1.6% and the number of employed women by 1.3%. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in July 2023 by 1.5% and the number of employed women by 1.6%. In the period from January to July 2023, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 1.1% and the number of employed women by 1.3%.

The total number of unemployed persons increased by 5.1% and the number of unemployed women by 7.3% in July 2023, as compared to June 2023. The total registered unemployment rate in July 2023 was 5.8% and for women it was 7.2%.
