In December 2023, the total number of persons in employment decreased by 0.2% compared to the month before

The total registered unemployment rate reaches 6.5%

In December 2023, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 653 778, of which 775 018 were women. Compared to November 2023, the total number of persons in employment decreased by 0.2%, while the number of employed women increased by 0.4%.
 
Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in December 2023 by 1.3% and the number of employed women by 1.1%.
 
The number of unemployed persons increased by 1.5% and the number of unemployed women by 1.3% in December 2023, as compared to November 2023.

The registered unemployment rate in December 2023 was 6.5% and for women it was 7.9%.
