In April 2025, the total number of persons in employment increased by 0.1% compared to the previous month

The total registered unemployment rate in April 2025 was 4.6%
 

In April 2025, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 701 966, out of which 790 512 were women. Compared to March 2025, the total number of persons in employment increased by 0.1% and the number of employed women by 0.3%. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in April 2025 by 1.0% and the number of employed women by 1.4%.
 
In April 2025, the total number of persons in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia amounted to 1 468 293, out of which 694 159 were women. Compared to March 2025, the total number of persons in paid employment in legal entities decreased by 0.3% and the number of employed women remained the same. The number of persons in paid employment in legal entities in April 2025, as compared to the same month of the previous year, increased by 0.7% and the number of employed women by 1.3%. In the period from January to April 2025, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of persons in paid employment in legal entities increased by 1.5% and the number of employed women by 1.9%.
 
The total number of unemployed persons decreased by 10.2% and the number of unemployed women by 10.3% in April 2025, as compared to March 2025. The total registered unemployment rate in April 2025 was 4.6% and, for women, it was 5.2%.
