Fifth WISe – WorkIn' Science

Croatian Bureau of Statistics participated in the Career Day of the Faculty of Science

The Croatian Bureau of Statistics participated in the fifth Career Day organised by the Faculty of Science of the University of Zagreb called WISe – WorkIn' Science, which was held on Wednesday 25 October 2023.

Employees of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics introduced the students of all departments of the Faculty of Science to the work of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics and informed them about the options of employment in the Croatian Bureau of Statistics during and after their studies.

Lidija Brković, the Director General of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, and Linda Kasalo Malić, Deputy Director General, also held a short meeting with Full Professor Mirko Planinić, PhD, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, in order to agree on a model of cooperation with students on internship.

This year’s WISe – WorkIn' Science allowed the Croatian Bureau of Statistics to introduce themselves to students and inform them about business opportunities in the profession, but also about other opportunities for their career development.
